Whitney Houston's body has been flown to her home state of New Jersey.
Following the death of the 48-year-old singer at the weekend, her body has been flown from LA to a funeral home in New Jersey. A funeral is expected to be held later in the week.
Members of Houston's family have suggested the service could take place in the Prudential Centre, an 18,000 capacity arena in her home city of Newark, allowing fans to pay their respects.
A picture of the superstar appeared on the electronic board outside the arena on Monday night. The singer's family are also said to be considering a smaller service at a local church where family members have sung in the past.
Fans gathered outside the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark yesterday to greet the arrival of the body. Local's lined the streets as Houston's songs were played and candles and flowers were left outside the home.
Meanwhile there has been no officialy confirmation from LAPD of the city's coroner's office as to the cause of Houston's death. The actual cause of death will be determined by the coroner's office after final toxicology results are received in the next few weeks.
