Take Me Out contestant Damion Merry has revealed that he received death threats following his appearance on the ITV1 dating show.
The 27-year-old who has been dubbed as the show's "worst contestant ever" after he insulted many of the ladies on the show, revealed to the Metro:
"I've had death threats, matches through the post box and petrol cans left on my car."
The model, who reportedly counts glamour model-turned-body builder Jodie Marsh as an ex girlfriend, also dismissed the reports that he was engaged when he filmed his appearance in November.
He added: "From the audition process to filming takes seven months and I know for a fact that many were in relationships. I'm sick to the stomach of how this has all come to play - I'm a nice guy and a family man.
"Going on the show made me realise what type of girl I wanted and this is why I'm with my current partner. I deserve to be happy."
