The biggest names in music reached out to Adele following her throat surgery last year including Elton John and Steven Tyler.

The singer, who scooped six Grammy awards at Sunday night’s ceremony (Feb.12) was forced to cancel her US tour and pull out of several performances when she suffered a vocal cord haemorrhage in October 2011.

She told Vogue: “John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did and he really helped me be chilled out about it. "Roger Daltrey's had loads of stuff done, Steven Tyler reached out, Elton John. Lots of artists have had problems with their voices, but you don't know about it."

“And they are still singing incredibly well in their 50s and 60s." She added.

The 23 year-old made her triumphant return to the stage at the Grammy awards and was given a standing ovation from the star studded audience for her performance of 'Rolling In The Deep'.

The star also admitted that new love Simon Konecki, who accompanied her to the award ceremony, was a pillar of strength during her recovery.

She said: “He looks after me. I don't think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn't been for him.”
