The Duchess of Cambridge will join forces with the Queen and Duchess of Cornwall for a royal event at the start of March.

Most new brides are a bit nervous of meeting up with the in-laws but for Kate Middleton she can hardly avoid it and will join the two most senior women of the Royal family for afternoon tea at an official event.

The newest member of the royal family will join her in-laws at an official engagement at the upmarket store, Fortnum and Mason in London’s Piccadilly.

According to People Magazine a source revealed that the event will take place on March 1st and will be called ‘three royal ladies have tea’.

We are sure that Kate, who dazzled at her first solo royal engagement last week will prove just as successful. Perhaps Camilla was worried that her daughter in law was feeling lonely without husband Prince William who is currently in the Falkland Islands and asked her to come along?

Or it may have even been the queen herself who requested her company. Kate is said to be quite the favourite of the monarch and has invited the new royal to Buckingham Palace for lessons in being, well...... royal!
