Adele managed to make something good out of her disasterous relationship with the man who inspired 21, but as the record was rewarded at last night's Grammys, the star had her new love sat beside her.
She is believed to have been dating Simon Konecki since last summer.
The charity chief did not join her on the red carpet as she arrived at the star-studded ceremony, but was there on her left-hand side throughout the night once she took her seat.
The star described herself as "madly in love" in an interview with 60 Minutes, which aired in the US yesterday, saying she doesn't fancy writing any more bitter break-up songs.
"I'm madly in love so I don't want to be like, 'Babe I'm sorry we've got to break up, I've got a new album to deliver'," she said.
"I can't write another break-up record, that would be a real cliche. It would just be like a boring running theme. People would be like, 'I've had enough, now cheer up.'"
But if things do take a turn for the worse, Adele needn't worry - Julia Roberts has warned it'll be a case of "we're all coming after you" if Simon breaks her heart.
