Beyonce is lining up a couple of big new projects for this year, according to songwriter Ryan Tedder.
Ryan, who penned her global hit 'Halo' and is the frontman of OneRepublic, revealed at last night's Grammy Awards that he had been in discussions about the superstar's fifth solo album very recently.
Telling HitFix that she "steers the ship", he explained: "You feed her the best that you have. She's just a phenomenal filter… she can identify what the next thing is."
He added that the star has "two projects happening this year" and that it "goes without saying" that her new daughter Blue Ivy Carter will have a major influence.
On his work for Adele (he co-wrote and produced 'Rumour Has It' and 'Turning Tables' for her 21 album), he said he based the idea around a conversation he had with the Londoner in which she vented her frustration with tabloid gossip, repeatedly using the phrase "Rumour has it that Adele...".
“When I handed the songs in, I said that this is the least radio stuff I’ve ever done,” he said. "This is my favorite stuff I’ve done."
The record won Album Of The Year at last night's ceremony.
His other work includes 'Bleeding Love' for Leona Lewis, 'Battlefield' for Jordin Sparks and 'Already Gone' for Kelly Clarkson.
