The fallout from Kim Kardashian's 'shock' split from Kris Humphries is still rumbling on, with the reality star frantically on damage control but now, to make matters worse, her former publicist Jonathan Jaxson has hired Kris Humphries's divorce lawyer ahead of his battle.
After Kim filed for divorce just 72 days after marrying the NBA star, Jaxson claimed that the marriage had been a sham and since then he's claimed that the family have been trying to ruin his life.
Kim's attorney Marty Singer threatened Jaxon with a defamation suit but now, Jaxon has called on Humphries' lawyer Lee A. Hutton to help him take on the reality titan in court, reports New York Daily News.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wanted to settle the mattle with a $200,000 pay out after the Kardashians star claimed that Jaxon had broken a confidentiality agreement, Jaxon told the newspaper.
Jaxon claims that he had never signed a confidentiality agreement when he worked for the reality star while Kim claims that she had never employed him.
The publicist says that the comments from Kim's attorney was a "complete lie" and that he has the proof of employment as Kim's booking agent for two years.
“I’ve been through hell and back,” Jonathan states. “I want the truth to be heard and, medically, to be clear of all the stress they have put on me.”
The stress of the battle has allegedly caused Jaxon to attempt suicide and left him with lots of medical bills. It's not sure whether Jaxon will sue Kim but Kris Humphries's attorney is “willing to take a stand and fight against this family and most people are scared to do so."
But Jaxon claims that the basketball player connection has nothing to do with why he hired the attorney. “He’s the best for the situation and it’s not because he represents Kris Humphries," he said.
