Alexandra Burke as opened up about a man she briefly dated last year.
The 2008 X Factor winner, who releases her new single 'Elephant' next month, explained that they wanted different things from their romance.
"I was dating this guy - an older guy - last year and I wanted more from it," she said. "He didn't. He just wanted to date and I was like, 'Oh, that's interesting!'
"Obviously there was an elephant in the room because he didn't want to talk about it and wasn't bringing it up."
She continued: "I was waiting for him to make the move and instead, in the end, I brought it up and ended the whole thing. I thought if this isn't going to go anywhere, why are we wasting our time? I'm not in it for the fun factor. If I am seeing someone, I'm like, maybe it will go somewhere.
"He didn't want to talk about where we go from here. I'm too busy to muck about. I was like, 'Talk to me'. I didn't not want to know and worry about something - nope, that's not my flavour."
Last year Alexandra had a mixed reception when she appeared as a guest judge on The X Factor.
