Aston Merrygold may appear to be living the dream but it seems there’s just something’s you cant get away with when you’re a famous pop star- pulling a sickie.
The 24-year-old was out with his fellow JLS band mates celebrating his birthday last night, when he tweeted his delight to be back at work for 9am. The @JLSofficial account has be inundated with birthday well wishes from fans, with Aston tweeting: “Until work at 9 :) (yes lay in!!!!) haa love y'all Asto xxx”
Its all in good fun though, as we’re sure Aston is pleased to be up and about after the fountain of cocktails he drank last night.
Fans have also been tweeting happy birthday to Aston’s best friend, Lisa Jane Murray, who died in a car crash last year. Lisa shared her birthday with Aston and the groups fans have had #happybirthdaylisa trending in the UK all morning.
