We've all benefited from Adele's broken heart, and technically so has she with the millions in the bank (and not to mention the six Grammy awards from last night alone), but the singer has admitted that now she's "madly in love", she doesn't want to be sad anymore.
The 23-year-old may have had a life-changing year with her broken-hearted records, that's all in the past as her relationship with charity boss Simon Konecki is going from strength to strength and Adele's not ready for a break up.
During her stint on US news show 60 Minutes, that aired ahead of this weekend's Grammy Awards, she said: "I'm madly in love so I don't want to be like, 'Babe I'm sorry we've got to break up, I've got a new album to deliver.'"
But the singer is glad that she's got a new angle to write from and confesses that people might get bored if she was sad all of the time.
"I can't write another break-up record, that would be a real cliche," she explained. "It would just be like a boring running theme. People would be like, 'I've had enough, now cheer up.'"
Stars at the Grammy awards...
