Whitney Houston was downing tequila shots and verbally attacked X Factor USA contestant Stacy Frances during a night out in Hollywood only two days before her tragic death.
The star, who was found dead yesterday (Feb.11) at the age of 48 was reportedly heavily intoxicated at a pre-Grammy bash. The singer reportedly shouted at talent show singer Stacy as she thought she was interested in her boyfriend singer Ray J.
According to RadarOnline the star became enraged when she spotted her beau speaking to Stacy. A source revealed: “She ran over to them and began screaming, ‘This is my man! I’m a cougar! B*tch, get away from my man.’”
After pleading that nothing was going on the iconic singer then allegedly pushed Stacy in the forehead.
The source added: “The other singers had to jump in and separate them. People were pleading for Whitney to chill out. It was embarrassing.”
The source claimed there was no evidence of drug use but "Whitney was drinking tequila the entire night and appeared to be highly intoxicated."
The 48 year old's worrying behaviour was a tragic sign of what was to come. She died only two days later at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The singer had a long battle with drugs and although it has not been confirmed there are many reports that prescription pills were present in her hotel room when she died.
Tony Bennett, who performed at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Award party where Whitney herself was meant to be taking to the stage called for the legalisation of drugs following yet another celebrity related death.
