Christine Bleakley has put her marriage plans on hold because of her fiancé Frank Lampard’s commitments to Euro 2012.

The England star will no doubt be training hard in the run-up to the tournament this summer which means any wedding plans will have to be put on the back burner for the Dancing on Ice host who got engaged to the 33 year-old on a holiday to Los Angeles last year.

She told The Mirror: “We won't do it this year. I know everyone thinks they know everything about our wedding. "But it won't be this year in the two-week gap that Frank has for his holiday.”

The presenter has seen her star fall since she left BBC One's The One Show for rival channel ITV.

The Northern Ireland native was axed in November from the channel's revamped breakfast show Daybreak along with fellow presenter Adrian Chiles after viewers failed to take to the presenting duo.

Far from being disappointed over the failure of the show, the 32 year-old insists she was happy to leave.

She said: "I didn't have a life. I've only just got over it and got used to being a normal human being again.”

The brunette admitted that she was unhappy working on the show and could not cope with the demands of an early morning show, adding: “It honestly takes it out of you. It was really hard. From a life perspective I'm more rested and feel human."

Things have not got any better for Christine in her new role on Dancing On Ice as fans have labelled her hosting skills as 'wooden'.
