Madonna has slammed reports that Britney Spears is to feature on her next single ‘Girls Gone Wild’.
It had been widely reported that the ‘Baby One More Time’ star had worked with the 53 year-old on her upcoming album ‘MDNA’.
The ‘Material Girl’ denied the reports during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on US radio, she said: “No it's just little old me. She can come on stage and perform it with me if she wants."
The news will disappoint fans who were hoping to see the two pop stars reunited following their 2003 hit ‘Me Against The Music’.
It is set to be a busy 2012 for the queen of pop who has already seen her directorial debut ‘W.E’ win a Golden Globe.
As well as a new album, she will also be embarking on a world tour beginning in Israel in April. Madonna also chatted about her recent Super Bowl appearance and admitted that she was not happy about MIA’s profanity, labelling it “negative”.
