The crazed stalker who was threatening to kill Madonna and Halle Berry has been recaptured a week after escaping the mental institution he was being held in.
Robert Hoskins was found in Los Angeles today and was returned to his secure unit. The 54 year-old has been at the psychiatric hospital since July last year after he completed his ten year jail sentence.
Madonna famously testified in Hoskins’ trial and revealed that she had nightmares about the man who tried to enter her home.
The stalker scaled the star’s walls at her Hollywood home and jumper into her pool before he was eventually shot by a security guard. Luckily the ‘Material Girl’ was in Florida at the time but was told by a bodyguard that he has made threats against her life.
According to the BBC, Madonna claimed at his trial that he said: "if he couldn't have me, he was going to slice my throat from ear to ear".
The man also made threats against Halle Berry who used his escape, as well as the release of another of her stalkers from jail as the reason why she wanted to move to France.
The ‘X Men’ actress made the request to the Californian court that is dealing with her on-going child custody case as she intended to take her daughter Nahla with her.
