Chelsea Handler has revealed the trauma she suffered when she fell pregnant at just 16 and the emotional roller-coaster she went on as she decided to have an abortion.
The E! Presenter and best friend of Jennifer Aniston appeared on The Rosie Show where she revealed that still 20 years later she knows it was the right decision. She said: "I wouldn't be a good mother."
“You should do whatever you want with your body and you shouldn't let anyone tell you what to do."
The 36 year-old admitted that initially she had wanted to keep the baby but her parents were the ones that made her realise it was the wrong decision.
She added: "I was so delusional.”I was like, 'I'm ready for a baby'."
The comedian revealed that her parents told her: "You're supposed to create a life for yourself. We want you to enjoy your life and not be raising a child, and we're certainly not going to raise it for you."
The star admitted that she would have a very different life if she had the baby. The TV presenter is currently one of the top Hollywood stars and good friend of Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston who have both featured on her show Chelsea Lately.
