Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger Reunite for Political Drama

Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger are joining forces again for political drama ‘Black November’.

The pair, who previously starred together in 1986 drama ‘Nine ½ Weeks’ and in 2008’s ‘The Informers’, will reunite for the film based on the true story of the Nigerian community of Niger Delta’s struggle against their own government and a multi-national oil corporation.

While the two both starred in ‘The Informers’, they didn’t share any screen time. Rourke, 59, said he saw Basinger, 58, for the first time in 23 years at the movie premiere.

Nigerian director Jeta Amata’s ‘Black November’ also stars Anne Heche and is due for release later this year in the US.
