‘Valentine’s Day’ star Emma Roberts was reportedly never serious about her relationship with Chord Overstreet before the young lovers called it quits.
The 21-year-old niece of Julia Roberts was hesitant committing to a long-term relationship with the 22-year-old ‘Glee‘ star since they started dating last year, a source has claimed amid speculation the pair have split.
"They're both young kids, they had crushes on each other but the relationship ran its course. She isn't and wasn't looking for a serious thing,” an insider told Us Weekly.
In the lead up to their break-up Roberts refused to let Overstreet into a Golden Globes after-party, according to another source.
"Chord was waiting outside the Caa party at Sunset Tower waiting for Emma to come get him at the door,” the source said.
She also told her boyfriend she didn’t want to spend New Year’s with him, the source added.
“It was just her and her girlfriends, a tradition she always does. Emma is pretty difficult to be in a relationship with.”
