The cast and crew of long-running US drama House have responded to news that the show will not return once the current season has ended.
Fox executives confirmed yesterday (February 8) that the show, starring Hugh Laurie, won't be continuing beyond its eighth run.
Olivia Wilde, who played Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley before leaving to further her Hollywood career, said: "House lovers, it's the end of an era. Shows like that don't happen, well, ever. I'm honoured to have been a part of such a brilliant story."
Jesse Spencer, who plays Robert Chase, wrote "Fare thee well, House" along with a retweet of a news story reporting the cancellation.
Finally, director and executive producer Greg Yaitenes said: "Thank you to our crew and our fans for 8 amazing seasons of House. The team has an amazing series finale in store for you."
Filming for the show will wrap in April.
