Following Alesha Dixon's departure from Strictly Come Dancing, rumours that Arlene Phillips would be returning to reclaim her role as judge, have been rife.
However, it looks as though the rumours are just that after veteran Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman admitted that he didn't think Arlene, who was axed from the show three years ago, would return.
Talking to The Sun, the judge said: “I’ve been involved with Arlene on a project and we’ve had a chat and I’m not sure that she would really like to come back.
“If she comes back, jolly good.”
Former SCD contestants Holly Valance and Kara Tointon have also been linked to the role before the show returns later this year.
