It seems old age has finally caught up with action stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone as the two have co-starred in hospital for stunt-related injuries.
The actors have been pictured together in the same hospital where they received shoulder surgery ahead of filming for their movie ‘The Tomb’.
The two had the surgery after starring together in action film 'The Expendables 2,' a sequel to the movie about a group of elite mercenaries.
Former Governor of California Schwarzenegger, 64, posted the photo of himself with Stallone, 65, on his Whosay account page.
“After all the action, stunts and physical abuse shooting ‘The Expendables 2’ and ‘The Last Stand’, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder,” he said alongside the photo.
“Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot ‘The Tomb’.”
In ‘The Tomb’ Stallone plays a man who is jailed in the high-tech prison he designed himself to make it near impossible to escape. Schwarzenegger portrays the fellow inmate who helps him in his bid to break free.
Let’s hope these two golden oldies can keep up with the stunts this time.
Schwarzenegger's return to movies follows his split last year with wife of 25 years Maria Shriver after confessing he had fathered a love child with his housekeeper.
But he wasn't alone. See who else was at it...
