Kris Humphries divorce lawyers allegedly want to question E! Executives to prove that his 72 days marriage to Kim Kardashian was fraudulent.
The NBA star claimed to be ‘blind sided’ when his ex-wife filed for divorce at the end of October last year. He has since countered her divorce request with one for an annulment insisting that while he married for love his 31-year-old reality TV star only married him for ratings.
He told Access Hollywood at the time: “To me it was real. I would never go through something or do something that wasn't real or I didn't believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that."
According to Radar Online his lawyers will question Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner over allegations t they filmed emotional scenes regarding the marriage after the couple split.
The 26-year-old believes scenes where the star discussed her marriage problems on a trip to Dubai, were actually filmed two months later in Los Angeles after the divorce had been announced.
A source told Radar Online: “Kris feels that if this is true and the whole conversation was faked, this would help prove that he got married under fraudulent circumstances.”
“Yes, this did occur after the marriage, but this is one clear example that could help sway the judge to grant the divorce on the grounds of fraud." They added.
The divorce is set to be a turbulent one as the couple are already fighting over whether it should be made public or private. While Kris is happy to let the world in on the proceedings, Kim has come over unusually shy and wants to keep her divorce, at least private.
