After ruling out Beyonce and Mariah Carey from the list of possible stars who could replace Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul on the X Factor USA, Simon Cowell has hinted at possibly offering the job to Katy Perry.
According to reports, Simon is keen on getting Katy on the panel with him and L.A. Reid after being impressed by her judging skills on the X Factor UK two years ago.
Simon told The Sun: "I worked with Katy once. I think she would be fun because she is hard — in a good way — and she's feisty."
However, the 'Teenage Dreams' star, who is currently going through divorce proceedings with British comedian Russell Brand, has also been linked to taking Kelly Rowland's role as a judge on the UK version.
