Having admitted that he was disappointed at not getting the X Factor USA hosting gig last year, we would have thought that Dermot O Leary would be jumping at the chance of going for the job again after Steve Jones' exit.
But it appears as though we were wrong because the current UK X Factor presenter has dismissed the reports that he's leaving the UK version to host the show across the pond.
Talking to the Telegraph, the presenter said: "I would doubt it. I don't want to talk about another person's job because it's not good politics and I love doing the UK show - that's where my heart is."
Despite not being too keen on the X Factor USA job, Dermot did reveal that he would like to work in the US.
He added: "I have no idea what's going to happen in the future and I'd love to work in the States but it's got to be right for my lifestyle. When you work over there, you've got to give it your all."
