Kim Kardashian may have been happy for the world to see her wedding to Kris Humphries, but she's not too happy about the world seeing her marriage to the basketball player come to an official end.
Reports recently suggested that Kim's divorce from Kris could be made public following Kris citing "fraud" for their annulment. However, new reports have revealed that Kim is doing everything she can to have her divorce heard by a private mediator instead of a public court hearing.
A source revealed to Radar Online: "A public trial is the last thing that Kim wants, and she has instructed her lawyer to formally petition the court so that the divorce can be heard by a mediator, which is routinely done in California, since it's a no-fault state."
The source added: "Kim doesn't want a long drawn out trial. She wants the mediation to be private, confidential, and legally binding. She and Kris have no assets together and kept separate bank accounts, so this is a fairly routine divorce proceeding. Kim just wants this over and done with."
Despite Kim's pleas, it is thought that Kris wants his divorce from Kim to be made public in order to "expose" her.
What do you think? Should Kim and Kris' divorce be public or private?
