David Beckham chose not to return to the UK or even nearby France to play football because he's happy in LA with his family, and without his friends it seems as David has admitted to only having three friends.
The LA Galazy star, has often been spotted with people including Gordon Ramsay, Tom Cruise and his old Manchester United teammate Gary Neville, who was his bestman at his wedding to Victoria - but recently, it's mainly only his kids that are seen hanging off him.
Admittedly, Gordon Ramsay spent alot of time with the Beckhams in LA last summer as he bore the brunt of his financial storm and feud with his father-in-law but does Gordon make Beckham's final list?
In an interview with Men's Health, he said: "I've got friends at the different teams I've played for, but family is the most important thing to me."
"That will always be the case. I've got my wife. I've got my four kids. I've got parents, grandparents still, and three really good friends."
Beckham also added: "It's all you need. I'd rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends."
Since the Rebecca Loos scandal emerged in 2004, Beckham might have been put on a short leash by his wife Victoria Beckham so that they could work on 'Brand Beckham'. And let's face it - it's worked, if only he's a few pals short.
Oh did we forget to mention that James Corden is a big buddy of DB's - he went to his recent underwear party...
