Technically Russell Brand can have $20 million from his ex Katy Perry as she made $44 million in just one year alone, but the British comedian has turned it down.
The 'Get Him To The Greek' star filed for divorce from Katy at the end of last year, and Russell's lawyer processed the final divorce papers yesterday (February 7) but a judge won't be making their split official until June 30 as they have to wait six months.
According to TMZ, sources have revealed that Katy and Russell didn't have a prenup and because of that, Russell is entitled to share everything they made during their 14-month marriage.
From May 2010 to May 2011, Forbes reported that Katy raked in $44 million and so if Russell wanted - he could take a piece of the pie because of the community property rights.
A source also added that their split is "amicable", as they said: "This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person)."
