The Britain’s Got Talent auditions got off to a bad start in London on Tuesday and things didn’t appear to get any better as the day went on. Surprise stand-in judge Carmen Electra was greeted by a chorus of boos, the audience complained about seating and David Walliams was overheard lecturing Simon about being late again (three hours late to be precise!).
According to Unreality TV funnyman David was heard saying to the TV mogul: “Some people have been waiting out in the cold from eight!!”
As the auditions kicked off things went from bad to worse, with several commentators declaring that this was the lowest level of talent that they have ever seen at BGT auditions.
Simon seemed to be in no mood to tolerate poor auditions, and after the first lot finished the BGT judge upped and left, stating that he wanted to have a break and go back to his hotel for an hour, which annoyed Alesha, who had been irritated by a rude and dismissive Carmen Electra.
However, despite the auditions not going as well as planned, there was one stand out act, an all-female, over 35s street dance crew from West London called ‘Confusion.’ Their energetic routine was a crowd-pleaser, receiving loud and enthusiastic cheers from the London audience.
If you can’t wait to catch them when Britain’s Got Talent returns to our screens this April on ITV1, here’s a cheeky sneak peek of Confusion's show reel!:
