Former Britain's Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan is known for his blunt attitude and saying exactly what is on his mind, even if it is shocking and offensive, therefore it’s hardly surprising that he has let rip at Madonna’s Super Bowl half-time show, labeling it ‘gruesome’.
In an interview on Chelsea Lately, Piers admitted that he didn’t think the idol was worthy of the praise she’d been receiving from her celebrity peers. The presenter said: “That Super Bowl performance - it was like watching your mad drunken aunt at Christmas, wasn't it? I keep reading all these celebrities tweeting like, 'Wasn't she awesome?' No she wasn't! She was gruesome!”
“At least I've found that I have one common ground with Madonna: neither of us have sung live at the Super Bowl. She was lip syncing the whole damn thing. I was singing along with her and trust me, she wasn't singing.”
