Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has revealed that she and her bandmates won't be rushing to release their debut album.
It had been suggested that the X Factor winners could buck the trend set by Leona Lewis and Matt Cardle and release their music as soon as possible, rather than waiting a year like other winners.
However, that now seems unlikely with Perrie telling the Daily Star: "We've been getting involved in the writing so it's taking a while to finish the album."
Adding: 'We want to release it as soon as possible. But not until we're 100 per cent happy.
'We don't want to rush it and end up flopping.'
It now seems likely that Little Mix will release their album to coincide with The 2012 series of X Factor, in October.
