The names of the hopefuls who auditioned for Britain's Got Talent via Youtube in the hope of impressing Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, have been announced!
Stephen Mulhern, presenter of BGT's spin-off show, Britain's Got More Talent, unveiled the list of hopefuls during a live stream direct from the London auditions yesterday.
Included in the shortlist are:
Alfie, who has been performing magic for as long as he can remember. However he doesn’t describe himself as a magician, but ‘a normal person who does amazing things’. BlueBlack, otherwise known as Fabien, who says he was hit by a flash of lightning which inspired him and gave him energy.
Never Blink have been performing together for around six years, and describe their act as a mixture of basketball, dance and theatre. Inspired by the Harlem Globetrotters, they hope to make the art of freestyle basketball popular all over the world.
Also in the shorlist is 19-year-old Alex, who describes his act ‘Little Mee’ as puppetry, magic and illusion rolled into one. He first performed at a holiday park seven years ago, and has been doing it ever since! And Marc, who has been a ventriloquist for 20 years. He wants his act to give people hope, make them smile and inspire them. He says you can never give people enough encouragement.
The acts who gain the most votes will then be given the chance to showcase their talents before the judges before the live shows.
Speaking of the BGT Youtube auditions, Stephen said: "It's really exciting that people can showcase their talent in this way - it's so easy and accessible. We've got a great shortlist and I can't wait to see them perform in front of the judges."
