David Beckham has admitted that he “didn’t know where to look” when his raunchy underwear advert made its debut during the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
Despite stripping off to launch his own underwear range with H&M the gorgeous footballer confessed that watching close ups of his very tight briefs in a room full of people made for awkward viewing.
The LA Galaxy star said on American radio: “When we were watching the Super Bowl yesterday in a room of about 20 people and it came on and I actually didn't know where to look.”
"I'm very shy. It was kind of embarrassing," he admitted.
It wasn’t just David that was left red-cheeked by the saucy advert, his children also averted their eyes when dad came on the television.
The 36 year-old revealed: “The kids loved it but they were also embarrassed as well because there was other people in the room.”
The advert showed off David’s impressive physique as well as the many tattoos that adorn his perfect body. He may have been feeling a little over exposed as 114 million people tuned in to see Sunday night's game.
The ever modest hunk would not even take credit for the sexy ad and said that his female fans should thanks H&M for doing such a good job with the advert.
The shy star certainly knows how to please his fans as he revealed just how much he loves to model his new underwear range, he said: “I love underwear, I love wearing it so it was something I just wanted to kind of create myself.”
