She may have looked the part as she posed for pictures outside the location for the London auditions of Britain's Got Talent, but it appears as though the star wasn't the part following the reports that she was heckled by fans.
It is thought that fans screamed "Who are you? You're s***" to the former Baywatch star, with a source adding to The Sun:
"As soon as Carmen got out of the car people were booing and shouting 'We want Amanda. Carmen was mortified."
However, things for the US star didn't get much better once she took her place alongside Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams, with reports suggesting that she was so nervous, she copied Simon in buzzing acts off.
Explaining Simon's decision to get Carmen on the panel, despite concern from BGT bosses, a source told The Mirror: "Simon took a fancy to Carmen and decided to fly her over. She looks great and is very opinionated, but there is a concern from some of the BGT production crew that she will not be the most familiar face to all the viewers. But as usual, what Simon says, he usually gets."
Fans of Britain's Got Talent will be able to breathe a sigh of relief today following the confirmation that Amanda will return to her job when the auditions head north.
