Russell Brand filed for divorce just before the turn of the year, and both have remained quite tight-lipped on the situation, although Katy Perry is still just not able to talk about their split.
The 'California Gurls' singer, who was pictured enjoying the Super Bowl festivities this weekend, had reporters from the red carpet removed so that she didn't have to face questions about her marriage breakdown.
Katy, who performed at a Super Bowl party that was hosted by HDNet's Mark Cuban, even jokingly dedicated a song to Tim Tebow but she didn't want to think about Brand.
"Katy isn't ready to talk about what happened with Russell," a source explained to The Huffington Post.
"She wanted to focus on putting on a great show at the hottest party of the weekend and enjoy hanging out with her friends. She knew that if she let media ask questions, they would ask her about Russell and she just didn't want to go there."
