Kelly Osbourne has explained her decision to voluntarily dye her hair grey.
The 27-year-old, who presents The Fashion Police on E!, changes her hair colour on a regular basis, and appeared on mother Sharon's show The Talk yesterday (February 5) to defend her latest choice.
"It's something I've wanted to do my whole life. I've always wanted to be young and have grey hair," she said. "To me, I'm 27, I've got three years left, the way I look at it, to have fun with it, because once you're 30, you look like a right idiot walking around with like rainbow, bright color hair and all different things like that."
She added: "I don't exactly come from the most normal family. I don't get why anyone expects anything different from me... So I think, for me, I'm just having fun with it as much as I can until it's not appropriate anymore."
When asked by co-host Sara Gilbert if she would consider swapping colour with Sharon, who has flaming red hair, Kelly insisted: "I like her fire engine hair. Which brings me to my next topic of conversation. If you have hair the colour of a fire truck, don't tell me not to have grey hair!"
It was rumoured last month that after overcoming alcohol and drug addictions in 2009, Kelly has recently fallen off the wagon.
