Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter returned to the stage last night for the first time since his sister Leslie's sudden death earlier this week.
The 'I Want It That Way' singer was overcome with emotion as she dedicated a song to his 25-year-old sister, who died on Tuesday (January 31) after a suspected drug overdose.
Nick already vowed to continue with the Backstreet Boys tour despite his sister's death, but it was his first appearance last night at New York's Irving Plaza.
The singer took to the stage on his own to give a solo, acoustic performance of his song 'Falling Down'.
According to E! Online, he became tearful as he sang the song, and beforehand he told the audience: "I never thought I'd ever have to, but I'd like to dedicate this song to my sister."
Leslie was found in the shower unconscious by her stepmother at the family home in New York.
