Following the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul from the X Factor USA judging panel, Simon Cowell is setting his sights high on finding their replacements...So high in fact, that he has reportedly offered Beyonce $100 million a year for five years to judge on the reality talent show.
According to reports, the media mogul is keen to get Beyonce on the panel alongside him and L.A. Reid to help boost ratings when the second season of the show returns to our screen later this year.
Of Simon's plans, a source told Media Takeout: "He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah (Carey) is good, but she's not that hot today.
"He wants Beyoncé because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."
Beyonce's reps have yet to deny or confirm the reports, however a source revealed that the 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) star will make a "major career announcement" in the next few months.
