Unlike former Strictly judge Alesha Dixon, who recently defected to ITV‘s Britain‘s Got Talent, Len Goodman has nothing but praise for the BBC and the way they run Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking to Entertainmentwise, Len Goodman told us of his love for the popular dancing show and the integrity of all involved.
The veteran judge said: “The BBC have never ever spoken to the judges about, you know, ‘this ones being nice to this one’ or ‘being nasty to that one’ or what.”
He added: “They never interfere with our integrity at all.”
Len went on to explain that as the BBC bosses respect their judging decisions, similarly they have to respect what is decided by the BBC in terms of the format of each show.
Describing how he has little say in the music, Len recounts: “I have said it but they don’t take any notice, ‘that track was terrible, can’t we get some different music?’”
After the latest season of X Factor with Tulisa and Kelly Rowland exchanging heated words over Misha B, we are not sure if that a cheeky dig at Simon Cowell’s X Factor, or Len is just simply chuffed to bits with his job on Strictly.
