Natasha Giggs has been told by the police to contact them over the recent death threats that she has been receiving on Twitter.
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant, who is famous for her eight-year affair with her husband's brother Ryan Giggs, has been targeted by the self-proclaimed "twitter's first killer tweeter!".
Natasha was shown the messages by a friend in the first instance, as the user had actually blocked her. But in the tweets, he has posted an image of himself shirtless, and also warns others to stay away from her.
One message read: “don’t ask questions just stay away from Natasha over the next few weeks!!!! Listen to this advice!!! I am doin u a favour.”
Referring to her affair, which she sold the details of to a tabloid, the tweeter added: it amazes me you thought u could get away with being a whore without punishmet..thearrogance astounds me! Your mistake!
“I will enjoy you more than enyone previous! U deserve it the most u r worthy!!! I can’t wait to see the pain and fear in yr eyes@NatashaGiggs
“Natalie just to tell u that yr punishment is coming and it will be severe! You time is up c***! U will feel pain! C u soon!”
But after seeing the messages, it looks as though Natasha couldn't believe it was real. “Waaaaw have a look at these pls! #freak the guy has blocked me but my friend showed me..... WTF is this for real??”
After several followers told the CBB contestant to call the authorities about the matter, the police actually made the first moves.
A tweet from G M Police read: “@NatashaGiggs Hi, several people have tweeted us saying you've had threatening tweets. We recommend u report it on 101 or 999 if emergency.” Natasha tweeted her love for her fans, but she insists that she won't let "little freaks" get to her.
“There are some seriously mentally deranged smackrats on twitter.... Proper little freaks!!! Thanku for the support tweeps muchos appreciated.
“Ok, no more talk of this FREAKY smackrat... they will not be ruining my day, today or any other day... Obviously a bit of a not right!”
