The Only Way Is Essex had a few more laughs in the second episode, as Lauren Pope revealed to an astonished Chloe Sims and Georgina Dorsett that she was once chatted up by royalty, after bumping into Prince Harry on a night out.
Lauren explained: ”I accidentally elbowed him in the middle of Chinawhite and then he just sent one of his friends over who was like 'my friend wants to meet you' and I went over and it was like Prince Harry.”
As if it was a perfectly normal everyday occurrence to have a flirt with a member of the Royal Family, Lauren describes how she exchanged phone numbers with him and the two enjoyed a little text flirtation.
Despite the fact that they “text for ages,” it seems like things never went any further between Lauren and Harry, which is a shame as it would have been hilarious to see Harry introduce Lauren to his grandmother the Queen on TOWIE.
Although Georgina seems impressed with the idea of Lauren as “the Kate Middleton of Essex,” Chloe comically admits that she would struggle to recognise him in everyday life, exclaiming: "I wouldn't notice him if he was like out of his castle."
