Daniel Radcliffe caused all Harry Potter fans' lips to quiver when he informed The Sunday Mirror that, despite the fact he and Rupert played BFFs on screen, they barely spoke in real life. They were civil professionals and that was the end of the matter.
"If I see him every six months or so, it's a friendly 'hello, how's things with you' but that's about it...”
Little did Daniel know that his words would spark a worldly debate about how Ron and Harry had been faking it all along. Within a few days, everyone who was anyone knew that the two actors weren't friends / had a strictly professional relationship / hated each other's guts (depending on which tabloid you picked up!).
However, Danny has decided to set the record straight:
“Rupert and I never text. We never have in 10 years of filming. We are crappy at texting each other back and we both know that's how the other person is and we just accept it. The next time I see Rupert we will sit down next to each other and chat and it will be like old times. Me and Rupert are very, very good friends. It's just that we are not constantly texting each other.”
So... so you ARE friends after all? Very, very good friends?
