The ITV and BBC ratings war is still on going as Simon Cowell has publicly admitted that this year Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor face stiff competition from BBC talent shows Strictly Come Dancing and The Voice.

However, Strictly judge Len Goodman has exclusively told Entertainmentwise.com that he believes it would be ratings gold if they swapped places and appeared on each other’s shows.

We like that idea!

Although the 67-year-old has slammed Simon for poaching Alesha to appear on Britain’s Got Talent, it seems that there are no hard feelings as he told us that he would love see Simon doing “a bit of jiggery pokery” on the Strictly dancefloor.

The veteran judge said: “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Simon Cowell came on and learnt to dance? And I went over to The X Factor and sung – it would be a perfect swap!"

He added: “I’ve got a feeling he can’t dance and I know for sure I can’t sing, so it would be fantastic.”

Strictly judge Len revealed that he doesn’t mind who comes on the show when it returns later this year, but Simon is the “only one person I would really like to see.”

Do you think Len on The X Factor and Simon on Strictly Come Dancing would be “a perfect swap?”
