The search for the next American Idol is well and truly on after Jennifer Lopez stated that America can never have too many stars.
Making an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, the American Idol judge was asked whether the country had enough musical talent.
Responding to the question, Jennifer laughed: "I don't think you can ever have enough stars!"
The judge, who sits alongside Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson also talked about her role on the show, saying:
"It's a lot of fun. I love music, it's just a different kind of thing to do with music. We just have a good time. I love Steven and Randy and we have a lot of fun on the show.
"They are long days, we see a lot of people, some are good, some are not, but it's always interesting. So many different people from so many different cities with so many different stories. Everybody is just different."
We can't wait for the new season to start!
