Jennifer Lopez has implied that problems communicating with Marc Anthony may have been behind the breakdown of their seven year marriage.
The couple announced their break-up last June and both have stayed tight lipped over what exactly went wrong, though rumours did imply Marc was too controlling of his wife.
The singer, who is currently filming talent show Q'Viva! The Chosen with the Latin star admitted that continuing to work with Marc reminds her why they split in the first place.
In an appearance on The David Letterman Show , she said on working with her ex-husband: “It has its moments. But the same things that kind of you know, didn't really work. Communication. Just like, you're talking and you don't agree on something and then you're like, 'Be quiet!”
We wonder if the disagreements are over Jennifer's new toyboy lover Casper Smart. The American Idol presenter has been dating the 24 year-old back-up dancer since late last year and irritated her ex-husband after her new boyfriend was seen playing with their children Max and Emme.
Despite the difficulties of working with someone you are currently divorcing the 42 year-old insists that she is enjoying the experience because the couple work well together.
She said: “You know, it's fun, because we know each other so well and we really work well together.”
Jennifer recently revealed that she will always have a special place in her life for Marc but failed to confirm the same commitment to a future with Casper.
When asked if she could hear wedding bells for the couple she said no and that the relationship was “too fresh” to think about that.
