MIA has confirmed that she'll be hitting the stage with Nicki Minaj for Madonna's half-time show during the Super Bowl this weekend.
The 'Like A Virgin' singer was the chosen one to perform in Indianapolis on February 5, following on from the Black Eyed Peas last year, and she will be joined by Young Money star Nicki Minaj and the 'Paper Planes' rapper.
Last night, while talking to BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, the British rapper said: "Yes, I'm going to the Super Bowl… I'm gonna be performing with Madonna and Nicki Minaj... If you're gonna go to the Super Bowl, you might as well go with America's biggest female icons."
Both of the stars feature on the Queen of Pop's new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin'', which will be released on February 3. It'll be the first track from Madge's highly-anticipated 'MDNA'.
A source recently told The Sun that Madonna has been "brutal" during the rehearsals for the upcoming show.
"Madonna has been brutal in rehearsals. Although they've been having a laugh, they've been doing up to 12 hours in a New York studio," a source said.
"She's saying they can sleep after the Super Bowl. She's involved in every aspect of the show, including Nicki and M.I.A's outfits. Nicki has been telling pals it's the most gruelling thing she has ever done and wouldn't expect anything else, calling it an 'epic learning experience'."
Let's hope Nicki doesn't have a 'Janet' moment - again...
