Elton John is surely the king of the celebrity feud as he has taken yet another dig at Madonna over her upcoming half-time show at the US Superbowl.
In an appearance on Good Morning America the 64 year-old was asked if he had any advice for the ‘Material Girl’ before her performance next month which will be seen by millions of people around the world.
Elton took the oppourtunity to reignite their feud and implied that she would not be singing live, replying: “Make sure you lip-synch good.”
The singer has made digs in the past about acts singing live and went on to attack the prestigious event which is as hotly anticipated as the game itself. He said: “I’ve never seen a decent one. Never ever.”
Elton went on to declare that he would never consider appearing on the half-time show. The British singer was a sore loser at this year’s Golden Globes when he missed out on the award for best original song to the 53 year-old.
His husband David Furnish ranted on twitter following the announcement of the winner and later even accused the organisers of fixing it so Madonna would win.
Madonna will certainly not welcome the comments as she struggles to prepare for the 12 minute performance. Last week she broke down at a screening for her movie 'W.E.' and blamed the pressure of her rehersals.
