Halle Berry and former flame Gabriel Aubry have been advised to take their three-year-old daughter Nahla into counselling.
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services made the recommendation as the former couple were due in court today in their bitter custody battle, entertainment website TMZ reported.
Berry, 45, has requested the model be banned from having any contact with their child after nanny Alliance Kamdem claimed Aubry pushed her into a door as she was holding Nahla during an alleged incident earlier this month.
Aubry, 36, has since asked a judge for a restraining order against the nanny.
A source also told RadarOnline Berry and Aubry have also been recommended to take parenting classes together to see how their fighting is affecting their daughter.
Earlier it was reported that Aubry had agreed to enrol in anger management classes.
The news comes after Berry and her fiance Olivier Martinez were photographed in Malibu playing with Nahla in Malibu.
