Katy Perry has found that the ideal way to ease her pain over Russell Brand is to get close with one of her backing dancers...
Poor Katy Perry. She was hoping for a reconciliation with estranged lover Russell but he knocked her back, leaving our fave 'Teenage Dream' singer looking pale, miserable and blue (in all senses of the word!).
Thank goodness for good friends, eh?
Backing dancer Malik Le Nost has reportedly been Katy's rock over the last few months, meeting with her for heart-to-hearts and, generally, putting a smile back on the buxom babe's face.
A source came forward to The Mirror to speak out about how Malik and Katy's friendship has already set tongues wagging:
"In sound check on the day of the last show, the pair started falling about in fits of giggles over a private joke. It was as if they were a couple; Malik shot her cheeky winks across the stage and showered her with hugs. Katy was clearly loving the attention.”
Love seems to swap and change pretty fast in the showbiz world, but we're not drawing any conclusions about the pair just yet. We're happy enough with the fact that someone's managed to put that big beautiful smile back on Ms. Perry's face!
