Music icon Etta James was laid to rest today and Christina Aguilera was determined to pay tribute to her in style...
Displaying raw emotion, the singer gave a rousing performance of the Etta James classic tune 'At Last', causing fans to take to Twitter to tell her how moving they found her powerful tribute.
Hundreds of mourners attended the service of R'n'B singer Etta James and Christina was not the only one to perform; Stevie Wonder also belted out three songs in honour of the late blues performer.
The Reverend Al Sharpton congratulated Etta on helping to bring an end to racial barriers with her music:
"She was able to get us on the same rhythms and humming the same ballads and understanding each others' melodies way before we could even use the same hotels."
