It’s down to Frankie Cocozza and Denise Welch for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother crown as Michael Madsen and Gareth Thomas are booted out.

The American actor came fourth was greeted with a mixture of cheers and boos from the hostile crowd. 'The Reservoir Dogs' actor was his laidback self as he talked to Brian and admitted that he was still confused about his relationship with Loose Women star Denise Welch.

He said: “I couldn’t really tell what she was after. Could you ask security to keep me away from me?”

When asked if perhaps she fancied him, he said: “I don’t know you will have to ask her.” One person he was sure about was Frankie who he admitted reminded him of his own sons.

He revealed: “I got some teenage sons of my own, he reminded me of being around my own boys, he was really funny.”

His fellow housemate Gareth Thomas came in third and left soon after Michael to cheers from the crowds.

The rugby player only received one nomination while in the house and was described as a ‘rock’ for his fellow housemates.

The Welshman said he didn’t know why he was so popular, he revealed: “I tried to get on with everyone, be myself, I didn’t try for people to like me but I tried to like them.”

The 37 year-old also admitted that he was gutted that he was not in fact ‘huge in Japan’ as he had been convinced of by a task in the house.
