When The Only Way Is Essex's James Argent was spotted in a jewellery store earlier this week, alarm, or should we say the sound of wedding bells started ringing. Was he preparing to go down on one knee and propose to girlfriend and fellow TOWIE star Lydia Bright?

Well, no, because Lydia dismissed the rumours that she is getting ready to walk down the aisle with James, telling us on National Television Awards red carpet:

"J was just in the jewellers and he got pictured and I think that all of a sudden everyone thought we were getting married, but no he was just in the jewellers."

Asked whether she would say 'I do' to James in the future, the reality star, responded: "Who knows? You never know what can happen in the future and I don't know."
